Season of Transformation...
The first step to anything is to acknowledge there is an imbalance. There is a deep unsettling feeling and something needs to change. This is the season to learn and let go.

I have spent several years on a healing journey to transition my internal world into someone who can stand strongly rooted in who she is and why she is here.
I am about to embark on a new journey of transforming my outer world to represent the sacred matriarch I've embodied in my healing, teachings and ways of being.
I invite you dear friend to join me. To journey with me. To challenge yourself in everything you think you know about who you are and how you live.
Let's shake up our habits and patterns!
This is an introduction to my new journey, my blog, my voice, my personal life on a mission to BE a better person, mother, wife, business owner AND empower my Indigenous sisters, 2 spirit, non-binary in their businesses through story. Ahhh I have such a passion for stories. We are, after all, natural storytellers. We come from oral histories and super natural knowledge.
Here you can find the journey of a home and life transforming through Indigenous and sustainable products, information and story. You will find personal experience, reflection and authentic truth interwoven with Indigenous knowledge and teachings. UpLIFTing Indigenous businesses and stories because we are the natural stewards of these lands. We are the original speakers of the land. We have lived in harmony in a sustainable way that nurtured the Earth while nurturing our bodies, minds, hearts and spirits. It is Indigenous ways of knowing through entrepreneurship that will right the wrongs of our current state of the world. I believe this with my whole heart.
Welcome to the Sacred Matriarch Blog: Transforming Inner & Outer Worlds through Indigenous owned and sustainable businesses that reflect ancient sustainable wisdom - the ways of my matriarchs, my grandmothers, my guides.
It is the season of harvest and letting go. The season to prepare ourselves for the winter months of hibernation and ceremony. To dive in, dig up and prepare to make the changes we wish to see in the world.
This is my commitment to you, dear one, to Mother Earth, to Father Sky, to my children and the next 7 generations. Here's to a better world, one small step at a time.
This blog is written and published on the traditional unceded territory of the Pentlatch Nation which is now known as Qualicum Beach. I am an Nlaka'pamux warrior fighting to create a better world for my children through cultural teachings and creativity.
